Tulen Center North is North Portland’s home for Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen Martial Arts & Wellness. Head instructor Pendekkar Kati Traunweiser and her team of instructors are dedicated to the vision of Mas Goeroe Agoeng Willy Wetzel.
Pendekkar Kati is a 4th degree black belt in Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen and is the ower/director of Tulen Center North. She has over 18 years of experience in Poekoelan. Kati is an exceptional teacher with strong interpersonal skills.
Mas Sean Haines has been training Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen for 2 years and has a black belt in Tulen Self-Defense. He is dedicated to showing new students the joy and beauty that comes from training Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen.
Mas Heather Godsey has been training Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen for 3 years and has been at Tulen Center North since it opened in 2004. Mas “H” is committed to helping each student realize their limitless potential.
Mas Nicole Wright is the newest addition to our After School Program line-up. She has been training Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen for 2 years at Tulen Center North. Mas Nicole also teaches in Adult Beginning Class.
